YYC Growers is excited to join other CSA farmers across the country to celebrate CSA Week, a national event taking place from February 20th through February 26th to promote CSA (Community Supported Agriculture).
CSA is a farm membership system that allows consumers to sign up to receive a season’s worth of a farm’s products (veggies, eggs, meat, flowers, grain, etc.) over a number of weeks. Along with getting to enjoy fresh, delicious, and local food, being a CSA member is an excellent way to support and get to know your local farmers.

How to purchase a YYC Growers subscription
Sign-up is easy and all online. Just go to our website and under Account choose the subscription you’d like to participate in—harvest box and/or fruit share, plus great add-ons in our online farm store like eggs, coffee, preserves, and more!
We have pickups located in Airdrie, Aspen, Bowness, Bridgeland, Hillhurst Sunnyside, Marda Loop, Ramsay, Ranchlands, Beltline, Westbrook Train Station, or delivery options for a $6.50 fee. The harvest box is $35 a week for 6-9 items a week. Such a good way to buy local, support local farms, and eat seasonally. 💚

About CSA Week
In previous years, CSA Day was led by Small Farm Central and it become "the day" when CSA farms collectively promote CSA across the country with unified messaging and urgency for members to sign up. It's a way for all of us to encourage CSA sign-ups while promoting the CSA movement across the nation. In 2021, the CSA Innovation Network extended the event from one day to an entire week, continued it in 2022, and is doing so again in 2023!
