We need your orders by Friday noon! 🗓️
Once we receive your orders by noon on Friday, we spend that Friday afternoon tallying and requesting the amount of produce we will need from our farms and producers. 📋
The requested items will arrive in our warehouse early the following week. We'll divvy it up and arrange to have your order(s) sent out to the respective pick-up locations and home delivery routes. 📦
***If you do not get your order in by Friday at noon, your items will not be requested from our farms that day. Orders received after noon will be lumped in with orders placed the following week... meaning you'll be waiting two weeks for your items.***

YYC Growers' food reaches consumers in a shorter time span compared to most store-bought produce, which might seem simple but actually has big impacts.
Some things to keep in mind when deciding between supermarket or local:
🌱 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: By minimizing the farm-to-table duration, YYC Growers ensures that the food retains its maximum nutritional content by the time it reaches your plate.
🌱 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠:Produce intended for long-distance shipping is often harvested early, which means it may not have reached its nutritional peak, which means missing out on the full spectrum of vitamins and minerals.
🌱 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬: There is less need to use preservatives to maintain the shelf life of the produce. This results in food that is not only fresher but also free from unnecessary additives.

Some other critical deadlines to be aware of:
- CANCEL ORDER: If you wish to cancel your subscription order for the week, this change must be made in the Customer Portal before Sunday night 11:59 pm. If you cancel after 11:59 pm, it will cancel the following week not the immediate week.
- SKIP/PAUSE/RESCHEDULE ORDER: Deadline to skip, pause, or reschedule that week's order is Sunday 11:59 pm. Any changes made after 11:59 pm, it will be applied to the following week not the immediate week.
